MICHELE DOES IT AGAIN!

The Arizona Press Club has been selected NAU student Michele Bradley as a recipient of a $1,000 college scholarship. Scholarship checks are presented at the Press Club annual awards banquet May 10.

Michele also won the Nancy Engebretson award last month.

She plans to buy new lenses for all of us in PJ/ONE!

Tom Boggan (2004, Photo) won first and third place from the Arizona Associated Press Managing Editors Association in 2006 for general news photography. Tom won first place for his Daily News-Sun photo "Ms. Senior Arizona" and third place for a Daily News-Sun photo entitled "Funeral." Tom started at the East Valley Tribune in April.

Sarah Boggan (2004, JLS) won first place from the Arizona Press Club for sustained neighborhood reporting for any publication for 2006. That was for my coverage of Queen Creek, having been on the beat for only six months.
